Humans have been harnessing wind power for millennium and as a country we are brilliantly placed to embrace this source of renewable energy. On a national basis we’ve been doing this to great effect and wind power generation contributes a quarter of electricity production to the grid. It is harder to translate this success into a small- scale setting.
